Other Writing
With the desire to give back and help other writers, I started a small press, STONE RIVER PRESS, and published a few books and anthologies. Since I knew so many novice writers and a few pros, the press published mostly Texas authors. That endeavor was all the more worthwhile when someone would tell me how much they appreciated my giving them the opportunity to have a publishing credit, which encouraged them to continue writing. I've also enjoyed helping a few folks start their own presses. SRP has gone on hiatus as it was expensive and time consuming to produce, and my own writing became non-existent.
